Meet Rosalie Marcus
Many years ago I started a promotional products business as a part time venture while teaching school in my hometown, Philadelphia. I worked evenings, weekends and summers. I liked my teaching career, but I craved the freedom and flexibility of working for myself.
When the business started to take off I decided to leave teaching and go full speed ahead with promotional products sales. I soon realized that my teaching background was a perfect fit for the promotional products industry; I learned how to be creative, flexible and prepared for anything!
I was a single parent going through a difficult divorce when I started my business. In retrospect it was a crazy time to venture into something new, but I had one thing going for me, a strong determination to succeed!
In the beginning, I made tons of mistakes and missteps and had plenty of sleepless nights until I finally figured out systems and strategies that work. That’s when my business really skyrocketed and within a few years was recognized as a TOP 100 Fastest Growing Company by The Philadelphia Business Journal.
With the success of my business I was invited to speak and share my business-building ideas with promotional products industry sales professionals at the inaugural ASI Trade Show in Vegas. Since then I have continuously been invited to speak at promotional products trade shows and share my experience and knowledge.As someone who is still active in the industry, everything I teach and share is based on real-life industry experience and the most current strategies that attract business now.

Personal Reflections:
When I’m not working, my husband Bob and I love to travel We’ve been fortunate to have visited some of the most beautiful and interesting places in the world, but if I had to pick my favorite place to visit it would be Italy.
I’m an avid reader, life-long learner (I’m always enrolled in a class) and personal growth enthusiast. I enjoy being outdoors, practicing yoga and for years have participated in a weekly Mahjong game with friends.
Giving back to my community is important to me and currently I’m on the Board of an organization that helps victims of domestic violence. In the past I’ve tutored immigrants learning to speak English, prepared meals in a homeless shelter and helped to build a house with Habitat for Humanity.
I grew up in a close knit family where friends and relatives were always welcome and greeted warmly. These days I’m a happy wife, proud mother and “over the moon” grandmother of two fantastic boys!
